In the first quarter of 2024, the social networking landscape on the iOS platform in Australia has shown varied trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat observed a revenue trend fluctuating around $80K, peaking at $91K in late February. Downloads for Grindr showed a slight decline from 1.5K in the first week of January to 1.3K towards the end of March. Weekly active users ranged from 20K to 23K, with a noticeable peak in early March.

BIGO LIVE-Live Stream, Go Live saw its revenue grow from $52K at the start of January to over $65K in early March, before tapering to $58K by the quarter's end. Downloads peaked at 2.5K in mid-January, followed by a gradual decline to just under 2K. Weekly active users stayed relatively stable, starting at around 20K and ending the quarter with a similar figure.

Life360: Find Friends & Family experienced an increase in revenue, starting at $44K and reaching nearly $57K in late February. Downloads saw highs of over 19K in late January, with a general downward trend concluding at 14K. The app's weekly active users showcased a high of 609K in mid-February before closing the quarter at around 564K.

Plenty of Fish Dating App generated revenues that oscillated between $39K and $44K throughout the quarter. Downloads remained fairly consistent, hovering around the 1.7K mark, and weekly active users saw a slight decrease from 15K to 12K over the period.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out showed modest revenue growth from $34K to over $42K at the end of January, followed by a plateau around the mid-$30K range. Downloads started strong at 13K but saw a dip to around 11K by late February, before rising back to 12K. Weekly active users experienced a steady rise, starting at 1.37M and reaching over 1.5M by the end of March.
